An ambitious, fast-growing global trading firm is looking for an experienced Sales Trader to spearhead its expansion into the German market.
This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team at the forefront of environmental and renewable commodities trading. As the first hire on the ground in Germany, you'll not only drive commercial growth but also play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a local office.
What you’ll do:
- Build and manage relationships with clients in the German environmental/renewables markets
- Execute trades across a range of environmental products (e.g. GO, EUA, etc.)
- Identify and act on commercial opportunities in the region
- Help shape market strategy and grow the firm’s footprint in Germany
- Take the lead in setting up and managing a local office as the team scales
What we're looking for:
- 2–5+ years of experience in sales/trading (ideally in energy/environmental markets)
- Deep knowledge of the German market and regulatory environment
- Fluency in German and English
- Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
- Self-starter comfortable with remote work and building from the ground up
