A growing independent renewables developer is seeking a Project Manager (PV) to lead the implementation of utility-scale solar projects across Germany, with a focus on the northern region.
This is a key opportunity to join a nimble and impact-driven team during a period of expansion. You’ll take ownership of PV projects through their execution phases—ensuring that construction, grid connection, and commissioning are delivered with precision and efficiency.
What you’ll do:
- Manage utility-scale PV projects from late-stage development through construction and commissioning
- Coordinate technical, legal, and permitting aspects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee timelines, budgets, contractors, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle
- Interface with grid operators, permitting authorities, and local communities
- Ensure quality, safety, and environmental compliance on all sites
- Support procurement and contract negotiations for key project components and services
What we're looking for:
- 3–7 years of experience in solar PV project management (ground-mounted utility-scale preferred)
- Strong understanding of German permitting, grid connection, and construction frameworks
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder infrastructure projects
- Fluent in German and English
- Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent organizational and communication skills
- Based in or open to relocating to the Bremen area
